Simplified Smart Web Management

The GS-5008E is designed for small and medium business networks that require simple network management. This web smart switch meets the network growing need by providing advanced essential features such as VLAN, Link Aggregation, Broadcast Storm Control, Loop Detection/Prevention, IGMP Snooping v1/v2/v3, QoS, Port Mirroring and more. Further helping to optimize the performance of business networks. Experience fast and easy operations with just a few simple clicks through the user-friendly web-based management utility, your network is ready to use.

Energy Efficient and Power Saving

To comply with the IEEE802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet standard, the GS-5008E offers environmental efficiency and provides power-saving functionality to reduce energy consumption and save costs. It automatically adjusts power consumption according to the link status to reduce power consumption while the ports are idle. To detect the cable length of connected Ethernet cables, the switch can adjust power usage; the shorter the cable length, the less power it consumes.

Gigabit High-Speed Network

With bandwidth-hungry PCs and large file transferring devices, using wired Gigabit network connections offers more stability and reliability over Wi-Fi. With Gigabit super-fast speed, the GS-5008E is extremely flexible in expanding wired connectivity with large files transfer over a wide bandwidth, delivering up to 2000Mbps of throughput per port at full-duplex mode to servers, workstations, and other attached devices.

VLAN Support

Helps separate traffic within a business such as isolating resources between network administrations and general users or between employees and public guests users.

Link Aggregation

Combining(aggregating) multiple network connections in parallelto make a single high-bandwidth data path for faster file transfer and enhanced connection reliability.

Broadcast Storm Control

The broadcast storm control feature can set up limits for each type of trafficin order to prevent broadcast stormfrom disrupting yournetworks.

Loop Detection

The loop detection feature can identify and remove loops to avoid slowdowns or stop normal traffic while the switch is connected to itself.

IGMP Snooping

The switch supports IGMP snooping v1/v2/v3, optimized multicast performance, and improved multicast services such as video streaming, resulting in smoother video reproduction.

QoS Support

Supports 802.1p QoS provides different priorities to different applications or users to guarantee a high level of performance for maximum data transferring efficiency fromyour network.
