Pelikan Edelstein Ink Bottle – Pyrite – 50ml – Ink of the Year 2026 – Special Edition

The Pelikan Edelstein Ink Collection is a series inspired by the enchanting colors of gemstones. For 2026, their Ink of the Year is Pyrite. This ink is inspired by the golden-brilliance of the Pyrite gemstone, as shown it its metallic, golden-gray sparkle. It has a subtle brilliance that gives the ink more depth and elegance. Like the Pyrite stone, which symbolizes vitality, protection, and confidence, this ink’s unique sparkle and deep luminous tone will leave a lasting impression. It’s also formulated with a special ingredient to ensure an exceptionally smooth writing experience, while also helping to protect and maintain your fountain pens. About Pelikan:

Pelikan is a Germany company founded in 1838. The beginnings of the Pelikan Company trace back to the chemist Carl Hornemann, who made his customers an offer for oil paints, watercolors, and farbige Dinten (colored inks). These items formed the foundation of the brand’s manufacturing line, including most notably the 4001 ink, which is still sold around the world to this day. Pelikan is recognized for their early integration of piston mechanisms into fountain pens, as well as the numbered naming system for their fountain pens such as the M200, M400, M600, M800, and M1000 series.
