Description

Sanby Rubber Stamp Collection – Hokusai – Odori

This rubber stamp collection features selected illustrations from Katsushika Hokusais “Odori Dokugeiko”, “Hokusai Manga Vol. 3”, and “Gojusan-tsugi Edo no Okai: Yui”, capturing lively movements and expressive emotions. From dances depicting evil spirits and calamities to folk dances that mimic the gestures of sparrows, and dancers reminiscent of the rain-making dance said to be passed down in Yui along the Fifty-three Stations of the Tkaid, each scene is brought to life through Hokusais distinctive, dynamic linework, conveying a strong sense of rhythm and energy even in still images.

Perfect for decorating notebooks, packaging, and creative projects, they bring a touch of Edo-era spirit and charm to each impression. They come packaged in a box inspired by the original works, making them a thoughtful gift for art lovers and collectors alike.
